This is the beginning of third year of an existence I never imagined I will be living- being financially dependent on someone.

I am absolutely at my patience’s end and am hundred percent sincere about trying any genuine free lance job on writing, that is I write and you pay, I am not keen to hit jackpot, fair payment will be fine enough for me.

I will like to clearly tell the robbers looking for fools to dupe to keep off – this one is too experienced to fall for your traps. I have tried for years to get a genuine, fair paying home-based job; the last time I was duped was in 2008 by a phony medical transcription institute, it gobbled up 30000 rupee and almost an years hard work, left me really sick in guts. Well, I am ready to take chances again but no longer being fooled. So, if any literary agent thinks that my works are worth it, I won’t mind sharing profits with him/ her; the percentage or fees for services will be negotiable. But please, don’t ask me to get a membership first, speak in trustworthy language. Or, any genuine publisher, publishing agency can gladly contact me, I will consider paying the fees if I think the offer isgenuine and reasonable.

You can check out my blogs to assess my writing and contact me.

Ponchishe boisakh 1416

Spent hours to think what will
be the flower with which I shall
stich your garland, light of my soul
I thought about every flower in world.

Every flower was dear to you
I just could not decide your
favourite, which I should pick
and stich a garland for you.

Then I thought about light
the thing which you searched
through out your life’s journey
and left for us before you went.

I picked up a bunch of pradeeps
stiched them without a thread
and stiched your garland of light
the light of my world and soul.

  1. Its been 68 years since he passed away, and every time when people speak about him, its only out of respect. Rabindranath Tagore's legacy can be seen throughout India, and mostly in Bengali speaking world. The one thing which captivates me about him is his persona. His looks, those sharp, and piercing eyes, his heavy beard, free flowing hair, and his clothes, it tells so much about a man. He is one of those very few people that i admire.
Thanks for writing this poem my dear friend, its an amazing piece of work.

  2. Even modern world is obsessed with Tagore. Google even featured a Tagore Doodle on May 7, 2009.

  3. Dear Zakeer,
same here, he is one of those rare persons of modern era i truly respect with all my heart.
he has been through tremendous painful losses throughout his life, and he left a treasure of love, hope, peace and devotion for his forthcoming generations.. us.
those eyes full of deep pain, and that face full of divine purity first attracted me towards him.
He is almost worshipped by a lot of bengalis (including me), whenever i listen to his devotional songs, only one thing arises in my mind, how pure and full of divine love is the heart which can create such words.
I love him with all my heart and soul. :)
I am absolutely overwhelmed to know that a lot of people know about him and like him out of West Bengal, even out of India.
    with best wishes,

  4. What is tagore doodle? never heard it, hope not cracking fun, you know i am hyper sensitive about him (still), I really step back a little from people who dont respect him after reading his work. nothing personal but i can instantly know that they wont be sharing my wavelength.
your liking him was a great, pleasant surprise to me.
    with best wishes,

  5. Doodles are nothing but simple drawings or sketches, and on special occasion, like someones birthday, independence day or any other day, Google comes out with a doodle on their website. i am sure you would've noticed it. for example today if you visit Google.com you would notice the change in Google's symbol. because today its mother's day. And i understand your respect for Rabindranath Tagore, and i never play with anyones sentiment. with best wishes,

  6. okay, so i must have missed it :( on 7th i would not have expected a tribute to tagore, i wouldnot have even noticed it.
i love that theme of google, they are usually very beautiful too, very attractive and pleasing.
i trust you but i dont trust websites much :) the sense of humor of these websites are really whacky and sometimes annoying :)
    with the very best wishes,
    trisha
